Transfer service Madrid airport 2008

The school has a transfer to service between Madrid airport and Salamanca and vice-versa.

This service leaves Madrid Airport for Salamanca on Sundays at 17:00. So, your flight must have landed at 16:00 for you to have a good change of catching this bus.

It leaves Salamanca for Madrid Airport on Saturdays at 07:00. At the approximate time of arrival at the airport is 09:30 you shouldn't book your return flight for before 12:00.

You can book your place up to 72 hours prior to your arrival date.

Bus Transfer Service

ADVANTAGES

  • It is cheaper than travelling to Salamanca with public transport.
  • It is a direct service meaning you don’t have to go to the centre of Madrid to get a bus or train to get to Salamanca.
  • It is guaranteed and you can book yourself a seat (public transport can get booked out).

DISADVANTAGES

  • Opting for this service might mean a wait at the airport.
  • The bus cannot wait for the flights with delay. If you miss the bus, the money won’t be refunded.
  • If you don’t book we cannot guarantee you a seat but you can turn up at the bus and see if there is space.

HOW TO FIND THE BUS

On arrival you should go to the Coach parking lot.This is to the LEFT of the general car park as you go out of TERMINAL 1 (Gate 1). If you have arrived in TERMINAL 2 or 4, follow the signs to TERMINAL 1.

The bus will be at the airport from 16:00. If you wish, you can go to see Madrid but you must be back at the airport by 16:45. Travelling time from Madrid Aiport to Salamanca is about 2,5 hours.

On arrival in Salamanca the bus will be met by an Mester school rep, families, flat-mates and residence managers. People staying at a residence or with a family will be taken home and people who have chosen to live in a flat will be given keys and a city plan.

The bus leaves the airport at 17:00.

DATES

From Madrid to Salamanca: every Sunday from 29th June to 05th October.
From Salamanca to Madrid: every Saturday from 5th July to 4th October.
