How to register

  1. It is necessary to pay a deposit of 150 Euros, which you may do by:

    • Credit Card (VISA and Mastercard).
    We will then deduct this deposit from your course fee.
  2. Please complete the form and mail or fax it to our main office along with the proof of the deposit payment. The rest of the payment should be paid no later than three weeks before the start of the course.
  3. If registering occurs less than three weeks prior to the start of the course, the total price of the course (not the deposit followed by payments) should be paid upon registering.
  4. If you have any questions before or after enrolling, you may contact us. Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 14:00 pm and then again later from 16:00 pm to 20:00 pm.

DATES

The schools are opened all year-round, except from December 20th 2008 until January 7th 2009.

Those with some previous Spanish can begin their course on any Monday of the year, except to the course DELE because it has special dates. If you are an absolute beginner, from June through September you can also start on any Monday and from October to May you can start on the following Mondays: 7th of January, 4th of February, 3rd of March, 31st of March, 5th of May, 6th of October, 3rd of November and 1st of December. Please check with us to verify your preferred dates are available.

The schools will be closed on the following bank holidays 21st of March, 15th of August, 1st of May, 17th of October and 8th of December. Also the schools in Granada and Seville will close on 28th February, 22nd of May and 15th of September, and the school in Salamanca on 23rd of April, 12th of June and 25th of July.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

  1. The minimum age for participating in our courses is 16. Please check with us if you are under 16.
  2. To reserve a place in one of our courses it is necessary to follow the instructions indicated in the section titled How to register.
  3. The total price of the course and accommodation must be paid three weeks before the beginning of the course.
    If registering occurs less than three weeks prior to the start of the course, the total price of the course (not the deposit followed by payments) should be paid upon registering. The cost of the bank transfer must be paid by the student.
  4. Should you decide to cancel your course registration and inform us 30 days before the start of the course, you have the right to the return of 50% of your deposit and 100% of the rest of the course payment.
    After this date you would lose 100% of the deposit and we refund you 100% of the rest of the course payment.
    Once the course has begun no quantity can be returned.
    In the case that we have emitted certificates of study for the obtaining of official aids or visas of study for non European students, no quantity can be returned unless the student is denied the necessary VISA. In this case, the student should send us the original certificate of study and we will return to the student all the money paid with the exception of 100 Euros retained for administrative expenses.
  5. Academia Mester reserves the right to expel any student who has not made the corresponding payments or who displays inadequate behaviour in any circumstances. In both cases, the right to a refund is lost.
  6. The price of the course includes:
    • The class material.
    • The participation in all of the activities announced in the program without indication of prices.
    • The Mester academic certification.
  7. The signing of this contract indicates agreement with the above conditions; complementarily or subsidiarily regulated by the common civil legislation for the letting of services and by the rules for consumer rights, in particular Act 82/95 of the Junta de Castilla y León and Act 26/84 of defense of consumers and users.
  8. According to the personal data Act 15/1999, we inform you that your personal details will be only internally used by Academia Mester.
