Preparation of the Certificate and the Diploma of Spanish for Business (CAMA)

In 1978, the official Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madrid established these exams with two objectives: to offer businesses a reliable means of evaluating the linguistic skills of their employees and to help maintain the status of Spanish as a language of international business communication. These are the most prestigious business exams in Spain today and are recognised by organisations throughout the world.

There are three levels of exams:

• The Basic Certificate demonstrates a basic level of language and some small knowledge of business language.
• The Higher Certificate certifies that the student has a good grasp of the language and possesses a good knowledge of the technical terms and phrases used in business.
• The Diploma certifies that the student has an in-depth knowledge of the Spanish economy, and of the legal and administrative terminology of Spain and South America, in short, that the individual has a very good level of Business Spanish.

This is a program with 10 lessons per week with up to a maximum of 6 students per class, and lasts 4 weeks.

The exams take place in March, June, July and November. In addition to the preparation course, we recommend that you also follow a language course at the appropriate level.
